Finlay Thompson
Finlay Thompson is a lead developer for New Zealand's Electoral Roll management system.
He has experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL and a range of open source systems.
Finlay started work in academia as a mathematician in Europe and New Zealand until 2001.
From 2001 he has been working in the IT industry.
He has contributed to Koha, an integrated library system with a Mysql database backend.
Recently he has been working as a DBA for the Catalyst IT, Wellington, managing the Electoral Roll database for the Electoral Enrolment Centre.
