Alex is a developer at Pivotal, now part of VMware. She works on the Greenplum database in many areas including storage, WAL replication, planner, executor, performance testing, utilities, etc. She has worked on merging Postgres releases into the Greenplum database and is actively working on the development of Zedstore, a column store for Postgres.
