I have 8 years experience in database systems and related area. I was an ex-Redshift software engineer in AWS and a PhD student at U of Waterloo. During the past years, my major focus is data storage engine (LevelDB, RocksDB, WiredTiger) and index (B-tree, LSM-tree, M-tree). We are currently developing a polymorphic data storage engine adaptive to different workloads and is pluggable in PostgreSQL.
