PGCon2013 - Final Release

PGCon 2013
The PostgreSQL Conference

Dan Langille

Dan Langille has been using PostgreSQL since 2000 when he switched FreshPorts over from MySQL because PostgreSQL had stored procedures and relational integrity; stuff he was used to from working with Oracle and Sybase.

Dan is the founder of PGCon, the second of the conferences he runs. He also found BSDCan, which celebrates its tenth year in 2013. Dan self-describes himself as a software engineer with sysadmin and database tendencies, all of which leads to exciting and challenging projects everywhere he goes. A keen mountain biker, he likes vacations which involve overseas travel and dirt.
